The Author

Louise Briony Hallam grew up in Sydney, Australia. Her youth was spent reading classic fantasy epics by authors such as David Eddings, Raymond E. Feist, Terry Brooks, Robert Jordan and Robin Hobb.

A love of nature led her to a lifelong career in ecology, but her passion for fantasy novels remained with her. In 2022 she commenced writing the Stone of Souls trilogy.

Louise currently lives near Canberra, Australia, with her son Finn, husband Andrew, cats Aya and Tom, and dogs Jake and Julie.

Guardians of Destiny is her first novel.

The Artist

Jessica Losanno-Innis was born and raised in Canberra. Her love of art sparked when she was a young child and has continued throughout her life. In more recent years, she has expanded from drawing and painting on traditional media to a digital format. With a fondness for travelling, Jessica draws inspiration from both urban and rural landscapes as well as the people she meets along the way.

Jessica met Louise Briony Hallam in 2023. She has been the artist for the romantasy novel series Stone of Souls ever since. They work closely together, Jessica's drawings bringing to life the author's vision of the characters in the tiniest detail. Jessica's character artworks can be found on this website and within the ebooks.
